Waukee High School

Hallett Materials

In 2018, Waukee, Iowa was ranked in the top 10 for fastest growing suburbs. Due to the rapid development and expansion of the area, a second high school was needed.

Multiple contractors and companies were brought together for planning the completion of the project, with Hallett Materials being one of them.

65,000 tons of washed fill sand was needed as a drainage layer of the new high school floor. All product will be produced and hauled from the North Des Moines pit.

With tremendous communication, service, and care, Hallett Materials was able to provide a better alternative to a high volume material needed to suffice the project’s requirements.
