Tri-State Paving boasts half a century of success in the Midwest construction industry. Established in 1963 in Estherville, Iowa as Rohlin Construction Company, Tri-State Paving joined Oldcastle Materials, Inc. in 2004. Oldcastle Materials is the leading vertically integrated supplier of aggregates, asphalt, ready mixed concrete, and paving services in the United States. Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, it employs 17,500 people at more than 1,200 locations in 44 states.
OMG Midwest, a region of Oldcastle Materials, is comprised of ten construction material suppliers throughout Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, Illinois, and South Dakota. As an operating company of OMG Midwest, Tri-State Paving maintains a local identity which allows it to gain market position while utilizing the technology, best practices, talent pool, purchasing power, and financial resources of a large organization. Because of this vertical integration, a project can be completed from start to finish by working together with our sister companies, APAC, Cessford Construction Company, Des Moines Asphalt and Paving, Hallett Materials, Mallard Sand & Gravel, New Ulm Quartzite Quarries, OMNI Engineering, and Southern Minnesota Construction.
