With over a year of planned restoration and improvements to Des Moines’ Easter Park Lake, the project was completed in October of 2018.
It was the first project that Cessford Construction Company provided certified rip rap out of the Le Grand quarry. Producing a large quantity of product that had not been previously available is a difficult task in itself.
The team at Cessford Construction Company was able to use their knowledge, skills, and skillset to successfully produce the product needed both efficiently, and timely, in order to meet project deadlines.
The 13,000 tons of needed rip rap material went to several locations around the lake. This required good communication practices between the customer and Cessford Construction Company’s internal dispatch to ensure a timely delivery at the correct location.
